FFA students also attend conferences to learn leadership and development skills to apply to real life.  MHS takes fifty students to the state leadership conference in which students learn about different topics.

FFA students have Supervised Agricultural Experience (SAE) in which they can do welding projects, work in greenhouses, raise and animal and learn small stuff they can do at home.  There is also classroom instruction and learning; students learn the concepts of agriculture. The MHS FFA Chapter goals are to include students, introduce agriculture, the industries, educate on careers it offers and lastly be rooted together: stand tall & proud. Go out on a limb and remember your roots.
