Who is the Rotary Club of Merced Sunrise?

 

We are a "platoon-sized" group of community change-agents, neighbors, friends, confidants and mentors. Some of us lived our entire lives in Merced. Some of us have just arrived. We are local experts with global knowledge. We invite you into our fellowship to create and lead positive lasting change in our community and around the world using Rotary's successful service and fairness principals. Each one of us has a unique and valued skill, experience or place that elevates and sustains our Club beyond the individual. Because of this trust, we need people that want to bring their passion and creativity to serve others.

Our different occupations, cultures, and faiths give us unique and ever-changing perspectives on our community. Our passion for service sustains each other as we identify, plan and execute our sustainable projects for the benefit of others.

 

Our impact begins with each member - people who volunteer within our Club to solve some of our communities' toughest challenges. Our efforts are supported by our Area, District, Rotary International and The Rotary Foundation, which transforms generous donations into grants that fund our local and global works.

 

Merced Sunrise is led by our elected and appointed Club Officers and Directors - experienced leaders that frame and sustain Rotary's values. Building upon over 115 years of Rotary's service excellence, our Club's philosophy is distilled into our Guiding Principals.
