Somoto, Nicaragua

 

Over the past several years Merced Sunrise Rotarians have visited Somoto, Nicaragua to assist our sister city in a number of identified areas. 

• School water and sanitation. 

• Wheel chair distribution

• Rotarian Schoilarships

• Repairing school desks

• Remodeling a hospital kitchen: prep area, sink, and stove

• Remodeling a medical dispensary.

 

As always more work has yet to be accomplished.  That is why Rotarians are working with the Madera Rotary , Atwater Rotary, Merced North Rotary and Merced Rotary on Rotary International Grants with the Somoto Rotary to continue the work already begun.
