We are on our way to meeting our Foundation giving goal for the year. We need to be reminded that Foundation funds come back the club in three years, so it is important that we donate so we may continue to do good things within our community – like Clothes for Kids!
Vocational Inspiration – Butch said that he way without direction in HS. By his college days he found a coach that inspired him and Butch wanted to emulate him. Once that coach provided him direction, Butch knew what he wanted to do and worked toward that goal. He became a major league player and then became a college coach himself.
Program – Our own Mike Cuchna provide the program entitled "Autonomous Vehicles." The future is closer than we know. Vehicles will become autonomous over the next few years as rules set by NTSB go from idea to reality. We see the beginning of this safety trend in vehicles on the road today including Honda Civic, Audi A3, A4, and Tesla Model S and X that have level 2 autonomy (two or more features working together like: adaptive cruise control, lane assist, and collision avoidance). Level 4 autonomy will be out by 2020 and then the world of driving changes.
