Pat Lunney was our guest speaker and provided insight into officer involved shootings. The rules have changed over the years with case law providing guidance. Police officers are today trained to address the many factors that impinge on their actions. Pat gave us much food for thought and was much appreciated.

The order of the day was a Shrimp Feed de-briefing. Mike Altomare provided an update of income and expenditures, while Frank Reed, Dortha Chu, Donald Barclay, Tim O.Neill, among others, made suggestions to improve the already successful event.
Dorothy Bizzini and Barbara Ward were introduced as guests. Barbara reminded the Rotarians present that the Merced Rotary Club was hosting their fund raising event May 9th and she had tickets available. Dorothy presented acting President Cathy Paskin a District grant check for our "Clothes For Kids" event.

Shrimp Feed Club Assembly was the order of business for the day. After guest introduction of Dick Hobbs traveling from Oregon and Rotaract students Monica Gomes and Alex Hamilton, Stuart introduced Bob Casey to do his Vocational 180. Subsequent to a few minutes of fellowship Cathy Paskin spoke about the changes to the 2015 Shrimp Feed. Be prepared as we are doing drawing tickets and desserts differently. We are all looking forward to Sunday!! See you at 1:00 PM today and as early as 7:00 AM tomorrow.
